What is the Bolton Historical Society? The Bolton Historical Site was created to fill a need. Indeed, the residents of the township, those who own a building there without living there and those who are passing through, want to know the history of the region and especially of the township in order to understand how the territory came to be organized as it is today. This may involve a broader look at history. In 2008, the Bolton Historical Society was founded by Robert Ledoux, Serge Wagner, Alain Vallières and Vinciane Peeters. The Society was dissolved in April 2025. The Site was created and is maintained by Norman Roy its author.
